Call Out
Service
Consult Lifts operates an
all year round 24hr call-out service giving
customers complete piece of mind that breakdowns
will be dealt with by day or night by our team of
engineers.
Maintenance contracts are provided
to clients and after initial mandatory
requirements are fulfilled the contract will be
tailored to meet their requirements which includes
suitable maintenance times to suite i.e. factory
production working and including LG1 1 year
examination as standard on all contracts.
Maintenance contracts are
programmed after consultation with the client to
establish any special requirements they may
require allowing factories production to continue
without disruption. All maintenance contracts are
monitored on the company system allowing
diagnostic monitoring of all breakdowns thus
identifying lifts with repeated common faults to
allow review and replacement of equipment not
operating correct to allow.
This service can be increased with
the lift having a monitoring unit fitted calling
back to our central system allowing breakdowns to
be identified and repaired sometimes before the
building owners being aware of the lift
failure.

Modernisation and
Repairs
Consult plan all
modernisation and repair using new equipment with
a field proven history. Modernisation packages are
planned after consultation with the client to
establish the end use the client requires and
Consult surveying the building traffic
requirements. New equipments fitted will be the
best suited to these requirements with all spares
availability being considered in the unlikely
event of breakdown and ensuring no specialized
programming tools are required to allow the client
full control of the future maintenance of their
lifts.
With some building upgrading the
lobby the lift interiors are the concern to some
building owners and these can be upgraded to fit
in with the building to allow the lift to blend
in.
Refurbishment works carried out
will be discussed with the client to ascertain the
performance they require from the lift and then we
will advise on the options available and of the
equipment we recommend which will always be from
suppliers that have been carefully selected after
monitoring their performance and reliability and
the availability of spare parts in the unlikely
event of faults and no equipment which requires
special tools will be selected unless specified by
the client or their agents.
